North Coast congressional candidates to face off in Sebastopol debate Wednesday night

Democrat Jared Huffman and Republican Dan Roberts, candidates for the North Coast congressional seat, will square off tonight in a debate in Sebastopol. Hosted by the League of Women Voters Sonoma County and Sonoma County Water Coalition, the forum will be from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Sebastopol Community Center, 390 Morris St.

For more than 20 years, the Leagues of Women Voters of Marin and Sonoma Counties have been among the strongest supporters of SMART. We actively supported and campaigned for all of the proposed transit sales-tax measures since 1990, culminating in the successful 2008 tax measure.
