Although he doesn’t “roll over” for businesses, he recognizes what business means to Petaluma and consistently votes to support a nice mix of business opportunities in Petaluma. The community is better off having Mike Harris represent their interests.
As for Glass and Torliatt, they seem to be supported by folks that seem hell bent on destroying the community and business. I don’t think it is too early to say “No to Glass and Torlatt”.

Clearly in this race, we have two candidates who have strong records on doing their best for the public interest, and much of our current success is directly related to their efforts. We need real leaders who will stand up to Dutra, for example, not just when it’s politically expedient, but when they are needed most….at the very first county hearings. Petaluma is a unique brand and we must ensure its protected. It means protecting the environment and being careful when approving big projects. My votes will be going to the leaders who have proven records of protecting the rate payers and our environment, while encouraging businesses that enhance, rather than diminish, our quality of life. Leaders who actually ask questions, rather than simply rubber stamp projects as payback for their support. I’m voting for David Glass, Pam Torliatt, and Teresa Barrett and, unless your vision for Petaluma is “Anytown USA”, you would be wise to support them as well.

Thinks it more than appropriate for her to once again be our lord and master, dictating her progressive mantra to the ill informed serfs who will support her in her never ending quest to be a professional politician and to cash in on the gravy trains of various boards, appointments and (she dreams) higher office.

No more Torliatt…. and no more Mayor Glass, her hand chosen sucessor / puppet. The voters of Petaluma need new voices in city hall, not these two who’ve led a record of failure and division.
