BDD-I don’t own a Webster’s. My definition came from the internet. Capitalism can’t exist without workers and workers ARE THE PRODUCERS. IT IS a partnership of sorts, anyway you look at it. The corporations, if they don’t wise up and stop lining their pockets with workers’ fair wages and benefits, pensions, and money saved by ignoring safety and environmental laws, will soon reach their maximum and start to slide. If people don’t have money they can’t buy their products. Even Henry Ford knew this and he was a Nazi sympathizer and as conservative as you can get. He knew that if he didn’t pay his workers a fair wage they couldn’t afford to buy his cars. Besides, these big guys put the little guys out of business and create monopolies (which aren’t supposed to exist but they’ve found lawful ways around it) then fix prices. Small businesses just can’t compete. They either die or they get bought out by big corporations.

Capitalism: “an economic system in which investment in and ownership of the means of production,distribution, andexchange of wealth is made and maintained chiefly by private individuals or corporations, esp.as contrasted to cooperatively or state-owned means of wealth.” Webster Dictionary. It further defines the captialism operates in the free market system.

We realize part of the dillusioal social justice whinning by the unions and the other 99% ers try to re-define reality to serve thier selfish well being. Under capitalism your employment activity must generate revenue and create wealth for the owner/corporation. If you feel that you are not adequately compensated for your contribution you can leave, find another job or create your business.

Public service employees work under a tax generated revenue budget that should not be compared to compensation from the private sector like they try to do today. The pendulum is swinging the other way and in the future instead of raising taxes responsible public leadership will levy a tax on the annual bloated pensions that currently exist. You know…spread the wealth and give back to your community.

I would like to continue but I have to go to work.

Follower-the wealth has already been distributed-UPWARD to the top 2% where the wealth of the middleclass is now concentrated. This is fact. We middleclass have lost ground since Reagan was President. As union membership has declined so has the middleclass. Workers are liabilities instead of assets and the definition of Capitalism includes workers receiving their fair share of profits produced in partnership with business. We are now a Plutocracy with our Congress and State legislatures full of the corporate bought and beholding to their rich masters and not the voters.

Anyone who can’t see this is blind, deaf and dumb. It’s pretty obvious and the numbers (and my paycheck) prove it.

Unfortunately the only “outrage” voters seem to express anymore is the outrage of seeing someone else doing better than them.

Nothing a little wealth re-distribution won’t fix.

OK, a LOT of wealth re-distribution!

That quote, lifted directly from the story above, says everything you need to know about the liberal leanings in mainstream media. Since when did passing bills = productivity?

Every sane person who thinks about that quote for more than two seconds should be outraged, and remember their outrage until the nxt election.
