Rural Country life isn’t in The Plan.

That’s why Cloverdale didn’t get a Smart Train destination; it’s outside the “Priority Development Area.”

This story represents part of the miriad of coersions that will be ramped up to make rural life too cost prohibitive and not accessible (literally). Soon it’ll be post office closures, no school bus service, then no school funding. Well & septic shenanigans, A Vehicle Miles Travelled Tax (VMT) will make it too expensive to commute. If they ram One Bay Area through banks won’t see much future in loaning outside PDAs. It will represent a loss of confidence and speculation in terms of business and real estate.

Like your country, rural single family home? Your privacy? Your garden? Mountain biking, horse back riding? Building equity working on your property?

Better learn about One Bay Area/Plan Bay Area and engage yourself and your neighbors. Otherwise your American Dream will include living REALLY close to your neighbors. You can talk about the good ol’ days and what you shoulda-coulda done about.
