There will be more hotels as well, and every single one of them should be union hotels. The only one that is union is the Sheraton in Petaluma and hence they get a lot of business from the local unions in northern California. Last night was a big party and the hotel made money. The hotel’s union workers are worried about their contracts. I can tell that hotel right now, if they don’t honor their hard working workers with decent contracts they will lose the business the unions in this county brings in. If they sell they need to make sure their workers continue to be union.

Rohnert Park will forever never be the same community. Long-term repercussions for such a short-term gain.

So a bunch of union guys get to work for six months building a casino. Yep, there’s some economic growth. Then they can roll dem bones and give their salary back to the house they built.

It’s just sick that this is even considered great union work. How far we’ve fallen. But don’t build an asphalt plant addition! It might hurt some snail 30 miles down the road.
