Like it or not, this is a free country and both citizens and businesses are free to move about and operate within any state or within any county so desired.

Your idea that an “out of town business” has some evil taint to it is absurd.

The evil taint is from oddballs and snivlers who think that Sonoma County belongs to the locals alone. LOL.

The huge, ugly sign on the east side of Hwy 101 as you are driving northbound from RP is an example of a “local” company that reeks of elitism. Know the one? Yeah… the ignorant bank that claims its a “local” operation… as if that is important. LOL.

The importance in anything is efficiency and honesty… being “local” is a farce.

Yeah, these moderates have to understand that Sebastopol’s rural, agricultural roots are not progressive.

This is a little Soviet, a sustainable U.N. outpost now.

I can’t blame them.

If there is any message to be had from the last election it has to be:

“Great job, here’s some more of my neighbor’s money to help finance more of what you’ve been doing… keep up the good work”.

When large out-of-town businesses get their fingers into local politics people will feel hurt and put upon. Its not surprising that voices got raised.
