You all seem so sure about what you are talking about. Have you ever thought about where the information you get comes from? I’ve checked some of the websites you listed. Pretty slick stuff! Where do you think the money for all these websites comes from as well as the national promotion of this kind of information? I say follow the money to find out. Who has the kind of money to do this? Who is still getting rich in this country? Not you. Not me. Not any of us. The billionaire investors are getting richer by the minute. They do not care what happens to small businesses, small farmers and ranchers, downstream water users, etc. They only care about profits for them.

The wealthy elite have unlimited funds to pay millions to media consultants who orchestrate messages that have some truth but misplace the blame. When you have something to say, you show up at a hearing to express your opinion. The billionaires pay to have professional media spin theirs and they do it over and over on TV, radio, and slick websites.

The billionaires and multi-millionaires outside our government are the real power in this country and they have influenced much of our government but not all of it. There are still parts of our government that try to protect us regular folks against the monopolizing power of big money (much of it gifted from our tax dollars).

They are the same ones who are buying off most of our politicians because now corporations can spend unlimited money to buy elections. Their goal is to totally co-opt our government so NO protection for the rest of us will exist. This has not occurred yet and we can do something about it by recognizing who the real enemy is. To do this, follow the money. The top one percent is still getting richer owning roughly 50% of the wealth in this country.

How do they continue to get richer? By getting the rest of us to fight among ourselves while they scam off with unlimited profits using the power of slick media.

The new allowed uses I heard were that you could sell arts and crafts from your rural property and special events could be held such as the ones at wineries that aren’t always appreciated by their rural neighbors. There was a list of about 8 concerns by property owners that the Planning Commission thought were legitimate concerns.

One was that revenue requirements for AG land would jump from $200/acre to $800/acre, a 400% increase that would be impossible for some landowners to meet. Another was that property owners would be forced to allow farmworkers access on their private roads. Another was that rentals on AG land would be phased out with the possibility that the use would be terminated upon sale of the property. This could create extreme financial hardship for some and reduced property values for most.

The fact that a large group of landowners felt compelled to attend a 3 hour meeting at 2PM on a weekday shows a high level of concern and disapproval of the new more restrictive regulations. If there were no problems, they would not have attended.

When county roads are allowed to crumble and massive amounts of new regulations are applied, property values are reduced and farmers and ranchers are put out of business.

Why is it so hard for some to believe that there is an international plan that 179 nations including ours have signed onto? As far as I know, none of the countries have dropped out of the program and they are all working at implementing the plan to varying degrees.

The non-governmental organization ICLEI Sustainable Development is international and has over 600 member cities and counties in the United States. This group is tasked with working with planning departments to make policy that will implement the goals of United Nations Agenda 21. The inalienable property rights guaranteed in our Constitution and Bill of Rights are being shredded by new policies. Sonoma County has regulated property owners to death and is harming citizens who are trying to do normal things such as working their land or renting their property.

We are moving toward a global community and global governance. The rights of individuals we have enjoyed as Americans will be gradually phased out as we are ‘averaged out’ with the other countries that are mostly socialist or worse. The social justice part of the 3 legged stool of Agenda 21 says that Americans are too rich and our lifestyles must be brought down to the same level as those in other countries. Otherwise, they say that we are causing other people to be poor. I believe the opposite is true, that by our prosperity and high standard of living that others will follow our example and be able to prosper as well. Our innovations such as solar panels, hybrids, and more efficient water usage are indicators that we can live well and protect the environment.

The globalist movement is being promulgated by the wealthiest corporate interests and most powerful leaders in the world. The uninformed are being duped into thinking that America is bad and must be brought down to save the planet and end poverty. The real truth is that the most wealthy are attempting to eliminate the ‘middle class’ so that they can more easily manipulate and control the people.

I believe that the far left liberals who support Agenda 21 are fighting against themselves because they have not studied history enough to recognize the tactics being used by those who wish to crush us. The corporations are out of control. As a left wing liberal myself, I am constantly dismayed by the uninformed populace who are helping this along. Property owners get it, real estate agents get it, why can’t you?

The county has announced that only 150 of the 1,300 miles of county roads will be paved in the future. Try and get to your rural land after that.

The rural landowners have been fighting to keep their wells from being monitored, saying that they own the water rights on their property. The county wants control.

The owners of rural land have been fighting to keep the county from requiring that they allow the public to have access to their private lands through open space trail easements. Liability, privacy, security–all endangered by the County’s General Plan rules.

If you own 360 acres and it’s zoned for one house per 60 acres, don’t think you’re gonna get 6 houses on it. No. You’ll need to spend years of your life fighting and begging and paying for studies and consultants so that you can crap on your 360 acres without endangering a salamander. We’re not talking about hundreds of houses when we’re talking about subdivisions. Did you know that? No. It’s whether you can put a house for your daughter on the land.

What about farming? It’s a joke that the county supports local agriculture. Regulations on your small herd of cows, on your water, on whether you can put up a barn, cut down a tree, fill up a ditch. Fines, rules, restrictions run farmers off the land.

You can sell a conservation easement giving some private group the right to come on your land and fine you for driving a farm truck on your road. You get to keep your land in the family for one more generation and then that’s it. When you die, your kids won’t have the money to buy each other out, and you already sold off your conservation easement so you could buy your own brothers and sisters out, so there’s nothing left to sell. You die, and the Sonoma County Open Space District buys up the rest of your rights and closes the land forever.

That’s UN Agenda 21. No conspiracy. Just the FACTS.

I attended the meeting and the audience was disrespected by the Planning Commissioners. They treated us like children, forbidding us from applauding and making us raise our hands. They threatened to end the meeting if we clapped. The smirking, the yawning and threats to us were appalling.

Calling UN Agenda 21 a conspiracy theory means you’re either ignorant or in denial (or lying) because every town and County in the Bay Area belongs to ICLEI Sustainable Development and pays annual dues with our taxes. Sonoma County is like the epicenter of the whole thing and Supervisor Valerie Brown is on the US board of directors for ICLEI. Doesn’t something have to be hidden to be a conspiracy? The only conspiracy now is calling it a conspiracy.

A goal of UN Agenda 21 is to abolish private property ownership and they are whittling away our property rights step by step. They say that private property ownership leads to wealth accumulation which is against their principle of social equity. If they make property ownership bad enough people will no longer want to own property. Sonoma County is the second worst place to own property after Marin County where practically all development rights have been abolished. Welcome to the new world order. Those of us who are liberals have been joking about it for so long that we don’t even recognize it when they’re doing it.

California has enough water for all its uses but the Feds have cut off Federal water.

California has enough water but courts believe the delta smelt is more important than people.

A peek out any Sonoma County window during the past week – would certainly suggest otherwise.

So, according to Executive Order S-06-08, we are in a drought.

Leave us alone already !

More rules, more permit and filing fees, more money for the County equals less money and jobs for the people. ( Even though jobs actually bring IN revenue)

This is what is wrong with our Government, they will cram anything down our throats without a thought to the impacts on the citizens.

Their minds are already made up for their own myopic view of what Government should control, though is sounds like the realtors have the clout to fight for their part. $$$$$$ Talks !

We need jobs, not rules ! Work for us instead of against us ! It’s like smothering a guy with a pillow when he is having trouble breathing.
