This argument is nonsense because it goes against the facts. Measures like Prop 14 have been tried in other states. They have INCREASED the re-election of incumbents to almost 100%, eliminated smaller political parties, increased the influence of money in elections, and reduced the choices in November to the most well-funded, well-known candidates. Prop 14 could create a virtual "one-party state" in some districts, leaving voters with a "choice" between a Democrat and another Democrat, or a Republican and another Republican, in November. The Green Party, and all of California's political parties (large and small) urge voters to REJECT Proposition 14. It does the opposite of what its proponents claim. And it's sad to see writers like Paul and Jim either arguing in complete ignorance of the proven reality or disingenuously if they know better. Please vote NO on 14. http://www.StopTopTwo.org
