Sept. 26
7 p.m. – Debate between 2nd Congressional District candidates Jared Huffman and Daniel Roberts. Sponsored by League of Women Voters, Sonoma County Water Coalition, Concerned Citizens for Santa Rosa and Sebastopol Water Information Group. Sebastopol Community Center, 390 Morris St.

Sept. 27
7 p.m. – Petaluma City Council candidates debate. Sponsored by League of Women Voters, AAUW Petaluma and the Argus-Courier. Petaluma City Council chambers.

Oct. 1
7 p.m. – Santa Rosa City Council candidates debate. Sponsored by League of Women Voters, AAUW Santa Rosa. Santa Rosa City Council chambers.

Oct. 2
7 p.m. – Sonoma City Council candidates debate. Sponsored by League of Women Voters. Sonoma Community Room.

Oct. 4
7 p.m. – Sebastopol City Council candidates debate. Sponsored by League of Women Voters, Sebastopol Chamber of Commerce, Sonoma West News. Sebastopol Community Center, 390 Morris St.

Absentee ballots mailed to voters

Oct. 9
7 p.m. — Healdsburg City Council candidates debate. Also, Healdsburg Mayor Jim Wood and Sonoma County Taxpayers Association representative debate Measure V, the proposed half-cent sales tax on the city’s ballot. Sponsored by the League of Women Voters. Healdsburg School, 33 Healdsburg Ave.

Oct. 11
7 p.m. – Cloverdale City Council candidates debate. Sponsored by League of Women Voters, Cloverdale Chamber of Commerce. Cloverdale Community Center.

Oct. 14
3 p.m. — Criminal Justice forum on Propositions 34 and 36, moderated by District Attorney Jill Ravitch. Sponsored by the Social Action Committee at Congregation Shomrei Torah.

Oct. 15
Congressional candidates file campaign finance reports with Federal Elections Commission for third quarter 2012

Oct. 17
7 p.m. – Debate between 10th Assembly District candidates Michael Allen and Mark Levine. Sponsored by League of Women Voters and AAUW Petaluma. Springfield Place, 101 Ely Blvd., Petaluma.

Oct. 18
7 p.m. – Debate between Sonoma County Board of Supervisors 1st District candidates Susan Gorin and John Sawyer. Sponsored by League of Women Voters. Sonoma Community Room.

Deadline to register to vote

Oct. 25
Congressional candidates file campaign finance reports with Federal Elections Commission for Oct. 1-17

Oct. 30
Final day to request an absentee ballot

Nov. 6
Election Day. Polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
